Michael's "Devoted"
The Constitution gives us freedom of speech and I would say that the person who owns this trailer is very "devoted" to their causes. They obviously gave up their time, land and spray paint to express them.
This trailer along with ones that contain anti-abortion and anti-gay slogans can be found along U.S. Highway 20 North of Pender, NE. It is brilliant marketing, in that it is portable, does not require a sign permit and on a very well traveled road. If, however there is a Pulitzer Prize for writing with paint, this body of work will probably not be considered.

Danelle's "bearings"
I'm sorry I have not participated in the photo contest. It has taken me awhile to get my bearings. I have found that if I get lost I can use the land to get my bearings straight. (No pun intended) To my east there is the mighty Rainier. To my west is the Pacific ocean. To my north is Puget sound. Lastly to my south is the Columbia river. Other natural features include the cascade and Olympic mountain ranges. Plenty of trees and rivers with cascading waterfalls. Even if I don't get my bearings I don't mind getting lost.

Ryan's "Bearings"
Michael's "Bearings"
Other than the fact that this train is bearing down on me...
Many of the trains parts use bearings reduce the wear on moving parts. Just about anything mechanical does. Roller bearings, sleeve bearing, needle bearings.... The Diesel-Electric Locomotive may have a few less moving parts that its earlier cousins because like a hybrid car, it transfers its energy to the wheels with electricity.
