Scotts "Movement"

Booked a full studio this week with a friend and had a full 8 hour day of shooting. I am still sore from it. This is Sarah one of the models that came in for an hour session. I played a lot with back lighting and this flying hair was one of the ideas I liked best.

Three days and I am on the road!!!!

Michael's "Movement"

This is my fourteen year chip for AA. Just like Conan O'Brien likes spin his wedding ring, I can spin this sucker for a long time.
A camera with a high strobe or shutter speed does not see all of the movement though. Just a little slice in time. Hopefully in April, I will retire this chip for one with a XV in the center. I just have to keep moving in that direction.

Andy's "Circle or Square"

Light fading fast for picture taking, found that the big orb or "circle" in the sky makes an OK photo over the frozen wonder land that is our state.

Michael's "Circles or Sqaures"

I went to the used lumber store for a project I have going on in the basement. Since it was an interesting place, I asked if I could take a few pictures to show Sandra what was available there. The guy though I was nuts, but said OK.
This is a collection of old lights they have. Lots of circles in this picture, and a few squares.

Scotts "Fill the Frame"

This week I took a what is to be my last trip to the San Diego Wild Animal Park before the big move. You can stand at the Lion Camp for hours and only get about 5 mins of shooting time. This was my first day with the new D300s. All I can say is WOW, I love this thing.

Michael's "Fill theFrame"

I could not help but take this one a little out of context. I thought about doing some macro photography because those always "fill the frame" nicely.

I've seen these picture frame tricks done on several self portraits and thought I would give it a try.

I never see this end of the camera... I was actually attempting to include a candle in the shot as the only source of light but ditched that idea pretty quick.

Michael's "Reflection"

Omaha has a lot of building with reflective glass, most of them along Dodge street from 84th and Dodge where you find the building that I work in, and the HDR building, all the way out to Boy's Town where you will see this structure.

If you can get the sun behind you, they act a bit like a mirror, reflecting clouds, trees and nearby buildings. No clouds today, but I'm happy with this shot.
